⚔️ Gyms

What's the 18-Gym Challenge, and how do I demolish it!?

Overview

The quintessential balance of biomes and climates in Pecha have lent to the rapid growth of all types of Pokemon. Naturally, the region has developed over centuries to become a hotspot for aspiring trainers to collect and train their team at.

The massive type variety on the continent has molded a unique trainer challenge -- trainers must brave harsh mountains, frigid floes, volcanic caverns and sweltering deserts with their team to obtain all 18 badges from each of the major cities across the world, before getting the chance to take on the Elite 4 and become the Champion of Pecha.

Guidelines

To remain eligible for the 18GC, challengers must adhere to the following rules:

  • To preserve the eco-system, no outside Pokemon may be brought onto the Pecha Region.

    • A starter will be distributed during the voyage to the continent.

  • Stay on the 18GC Trail at all times. This means within +/- 15,000 x and z coordinates.

    • Not to worry if you're bad at directions -- the Pecha Island Tourism Agency has set up holographic barriers around this boundary, so you couldn't leave it if you tried!

  • Challengers may set up camp and "claim" land outside of the protected radius of any towns.

    • More information on this can be found in the Land Claiming section of this wiki.

    • Please remember to pick up after yourself and keep the island clean!

  • All Rules and Regulations of the region must be followed at all times.

    • Failure to do so can lead to suspension and even disqualification from the region.

  • Challengers must obtain their 18 badges fairly and without help.

    • Challengers found to have won gym badges with borrowed pokemon, bought/sold/traded badges, and partaken in any other form of cheating can be suspended or disqualified.
